✨ My Comfort Anime List

 ✨ My Comfort Anime List

soft, nostalgic, and sometimes a little scary — just like me

Hi starlight~ 🌙

Whether I’m drawing, cuddling with my cats, or sipping tea on a rainy day… I always have a comfort anime playing nearby.

They’re like emotional bubble baths for my soul — warm, nostalgic, dramatic, and sometimes… just a little spooky.

Here are the shows that wrap me in soft feelings and creative sparks whenever I need to recharge.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️🌙☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🌀 Naruto

One of the first anime that really made me feel something.

From Hinata’s quiet bravery to Naruto’s determination, it reminded me that gentle hearts can still be strong. I used to draw Hinata all the time growing up — she still holds a special place in my soul.

It’s a story about not giving up, even when the world misunderstands you. I relate to that deeply.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️🌙☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🐉 Dragon Ball

The energy! The power-ups! The childhood nostalgia!

This one brings me comfort through its iconic characters and familiar soundtrack. Watching Goku train or laugh with friends makes me feel like a kid again, dreaming big and doodling heroes in notebooks.

⚔️ Sword Art Online

I adore the whole SAO universe — the series, the movies, all of it.

The idea of diving into virtual worlds and becoming stronger through your own willpower… it always inspires me.

I especially love the bond between Kirito and Asuna — and the emotion that’s carried through all their challenges. It reminds me of the kind of love I treasure in my own life.

🎀 Shugo Chara!

Magical girls, transformation eggs, sparkly outfits — this anime sparked my love for kawaii aesthetics.

Amu’s journey to find her true self through her guardian characters is so sweet and relatable.

It’s soft, colorful, and everything I needed when I was dreaming of becoming an artist.

🍌 Bananya

Cats… living in bananas.

What more could I ask for?

It’s absurd, adorable, and the perfect short anime to make me giggle when I’m feeling low. I could watch 100 episodes of Tiny Banana Cats and still smile every time.

Re: ZERO

This one’s a comfort in a different way — it’s intense, emotional, and full of reset moments.

I find peace in the idea that even if you mess up, you can try again. Subaru’s journey is painful and powerful, and it always reminds me to keep going, no matter how heavy life feels.

🌿 The Ancient Magus' Bride

Soft magic, bittersweet beauty, and a quiet girl finding her place in the world.

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this show. The story is slow and poetic, the art is lush and haunting, and it always makes me want to draw something mystical.

🎤 NANA

This one hits me in the heart every time.

It’s not comfort in a sparkly way — it’s comfort in the real way. It’s about love, heartbreak, friendship, ambition… and all the things we struggle with when we’re trying to grow.

I adore the music, the fashion, the emotional storytelling — and yes, I’ve cried more than once.

It makes me want to journal my feelings, light a candle, and draw something honest.

🖤 My Spooky Side: Tokyo Ghoul, Junji Ito, and Hell Girl

Surprise! I can’t end this list without a touch of darkness.

Even though I’m soft and pastel on the outside, I have a quiet fascination with eerie, chilling stories — especially ones that explore pain, fear, and morality.

  • Tokyo Ghoul feeds my love for tragic, cursed characters and deep emotion.

  • Junji Ito’s works are pure visual terror — and I admire the surreal detail so much.

  • Hell Girl is slow, creepy, and full of quiet vengeance… with a surprisingly emotional core.

These shows are oddly comforting because they help me face my shadow side, and remind me that darkness has its own beauty too.

🌙 Final Thoughts

Comfort doesn’t always look the same.

Sometimes it’s sparkles and banana cats…

Sometimes it’s sad girls with cursed fates.

And sometimes it’s a childhood memory wrapped in ninja headbands or pixel swords.

If it makes your heart feel seen, safe, or inspired — that’s comfort.

These shows shaped my imagination, my art, and even my OC.

I hope they bring you warmth too — or maybe introduce you to a new world you’ll fall in love with.

What anime brings you comfort?
