Art as an Introvert ๐Ÿ’–

How I Balance Art & Life as an Introvert๐ŸŒ™

(and How My OC Helps Me Feel Seen)

Hi moonbeam~ ✨
As someone who lives a lot of life inside their heart and imagination, I’ve always found it a little tricky to show myself openly. I’m gentle, a bit shy, and my soul runs quiet… but full of feeling.

So today, I want to share how I balance being a deeply introverted person and a soft, creative spirit who loves sharing art online. ๐Ÿ’—
This is how I care for my energy, express myself safely, and still show up as my true self — even if it’s in a dreamy chibi form.

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿง˜‍♀️ I Don’t Force Myself to Be “On” Every Day

Some days, I feel super inspired and ready to create something magical.
Other days, I just want to be still — maybe sketch loosely, nap with a cat, or play cozy games in silence. ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ’ค

I used to feel guilty for not “producing” every day.
But now I remind myself that rest is part of the creative cycle.
Even when I’m doing nothing... my imagination is still blooming quietly. ๐ŸŒ™

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿฑ I Let My Environment Support Me

When I feel calm and safe, my art flows like a gentle stream.
That’s why I make my space feel like me:

  • soft lighting

  • warm tea nearby

  • lo-fi music or cozy game soundtracks

  • and of course, cats snuggled somewhere in the background ๐Ÿพ

These tiny details help me enter my bubble of calm — and that’s where my best ideas are born.

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ“ I Plan Softly (and Forgive Easily)

As an introvert, I need structure and softness.
I use a planner to gently guide my days, but if I don’t finish something? That’s okay.

Sometimes all I do is sketch a chibi face and organize my Procreate files.
Sometimes I journal instead of draw.

That’s still creative. That’s still enough. ๐Ÿ’–

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ’ฌ I Protect My Social Energy (With Love)

Even online, too much social interaction can leave me feeling tired.
So I give myself space to reply when I have energy, and I’ve learned to say:

“Not today. I’ll respond with love when I feel full again.” ๐ŸŒธ

If I’m quiet for a while, I’m not gone — I’m just recharging.
My energy returns when I let it rest.

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐ŸŽ€ I Celebrate Quiet Wins

Not every win is loud.
Some victories are soft like:

  • sharing one vulnerable post

  • sketching something just for me

  • finishing a commission with love

  • saying “no” when I needed to rest

These matter.
Quiet creators deserve just as much celebration. ✨

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ’ซ I Use My OC to Feel Seen

One of the most healing ways I’ve expressed myself is through Chiisai Tsukiko, my OC and artist alias. ๐ŸŒ™
She’s more than a character — she’s my moonlight self. My soft protector. My dreamy voice when I’m too shy to show my real one.

When I use her in my posts, in my art, or on Twitch as my VTuber model (made by the amazing Miiku ๐Ÿ’–), I feel safe but visible. I can express everything I want — comfort, joy, softness — without stepping out of my inner bubble too fast.

And I know some people are curious about what I might look like IRL... so I often draw chibi self-portraits inspired by my real face and outfits. It’s my quiet way of creating connection.
Maybe one day I’ll do a face reveal… but for now, my OC helps me feel truly seen. ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒธ

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐ŸŒ™ To Be Continued...

And speaking of Chiisai Tsukiko…
I’ll be sharing her full origin story in my next blog post.
How she was born from stardust, soft strength, and a longing to belong.
She’s my magical moonchild, and her story is mine too.

So if you're curious about how she came to be…
Stay close, little starbeam. ✨ A new tale rises with the moon tomorrow.

~ To be continued… ~

Gentle Ways to Overcome Art Block๐ŸŽจ

Hi sweet souls ✨

Today’s been one of those days... where my iPad feels heavy, my brain’s full of clouds, and I stare at a blank canvas wondering where the spark went.

Yep — it’s an art block day.

But that’s okay. ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’—
Art block isn’t a sign that we’ve failed — it’s just a sign that we need to rest, shift, or play differently for a little while.

So I wanted to gently share some of the ways I work through it when it shows up.

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ’ก Soft Ideas for When You're Feeling Stuck:

  • Draw without pressure.
A scribble, a sleepy kitty, a floating blob. Just move your hand. Don’t worry about “good.” Just let your brain play.

  • Redraw something old.
Pick a doodle from last year and give it a glow-up. Or draw it completely differently. It feels like a soft reunion. ๐Ÿ’•

  • Try a 5-minute timer sketch.
Pick any subject — a cloud, a teacup, a chibi moon bunny — and draw it in under 5 minutes. Speed removes perfectionism. ⏳

  • Make a palette from your favorite snack or outfit.
Use those colors in a brand-new sketch! ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿงก✨

  • Watch your comfort artist or speedpaint.
Let yourself be inspired by others without comparing. Watch with cozy lo-fi and just feel the flow.

  • Take a “visual nap.”
Turn off your screen. Watch rain, pet a kitty, make tea. Sometimes the spark comes back when we stop chasing it. ☁️๐Ÿ’ค

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

✍️ Gentle Art Exercises to Try Today

  • "No-Erase" Challenge: Pick a brush and draw without undo or erasing. Let it be messy and magical.

  • Sticker-Style Shapes: Draw 3 objects as if they were stickers. Add pastel borders and sparkles. ✨

  • Face Mood Sheet: Draw 5 little chibi faces with different moods. No full bodies needed!

  • Fur Baby Scribbles: Draw your pets in the silliest poses possible. Mine always become comic characters. ๐Ÿพ

  • “Draw What You Hear” Prompt: Listen to your favorite song and draw the mood it gives you.

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ’– Final Thought

Art block doesn’t mean you're not an artist — it just means you’re human, and your creative heart needs something a little different today. ๐ŸŒธ
Sometimes it's stillness, sometimes it’s scribbles, and sometimes… it's just cookies and a nap. ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ’ค

Wherever you're at, I see you, and I'm right there with you.
If you ever feel stuck, come visit this post again — like a tiny sketchbook hug. ๐Ÿ’–

A Rainy Day ๐ŸŒง️๐Ÿต

๐ŸŒง️ A Cozy Rainy Day with Me ~ Favorite Things I Love to Do

Hi sweet soul~

There’s something truly magical about rainy days. The soft patter of raindrops, the way the sky dims into a sleepy pastel gray, and the feeling of being wrapped up safe and warm inside your little world. ๐ŸŒ™☁️

Rainy days are when my inspiration flows the most — so I wanted to share a little window into what my cozy days look like when the clouds roll in. Whether you’re looking for a vibe boost or just curious what a rainy day looks like through the eyes of a tiny moonchild… here’s my rainy day ritual. ✨๐Ÿพ

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐ŸŽจDrawing to the Sound of Rain & Lofi Witch Music

The first thing I always reach for is my iPad. There’s nothing more peaceful than opening my drawing app, curling up under a warm blanket, and letting the rain tap against the window while I create. ๐ŸŒง️๐Ÿ–Œ️

I love listening to lofi playlists, especially witchy ones like this one that I always come back to:

๐Ÿ–ค Midnight ~ Lo-fi for Witches (Only)

Sometimes I switch it up with:

  • Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild music
  • Relaxing Donkey Kong ambience
  • Even somber rock or instrumental metal songs — there’s something raw and beautiful in their emotion
It all depends on the mood the rain brings.

๐Ÿซ– Tea, Cookies, & Warm Little Treats

Rainy day essentials? ✨ Tea + treats.

My go-to teas are:

  • Chamomile (when I want to feel calm and floaty)
  • Cinnamon (for that warm cozy feel)
  • Green tea with mango blend (a dreamy favorite!) ๐Ÿต

Sometimes I’ll pop a pizza in the oven or bake cookies if I’m feeling extra ✨snacky✨.

And if not — donuts + hot chocolate to the rescue. Recently we ordered Denny’s burgers and boba during a stormy night and it was the best comfort combo ever. ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ’•

✍️ Writing in My Dreamy Rain-Soaked Bubble

Rainy days are when my brain wants to write everything. I’ll grab my planner or blog dashboard and just go.

Whether it’s:

  • A cozy blog post (like this one!)
  • A new art series idea
  • Or notes for my upcoming kitty comic (!! stay tuned for that!)

Something about the rain makes inspiration pour out of me too. ☁️๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿง›‍♀️ Watching Twilight, Vampires, & Magical Series

This might be an unpopular opinion… but I love watching The Twilight Saga on rainy days.

There’s just something about gloomy forests, broody vampires, and dramatic music that pairs perfectly with stormy weather. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ–ค๐ŸŒง️

I also adore:

  • The Vampire Diaries + The Originals (forever faves!)
  • Merlin (the British fantasy series!)
  • Cozy anime with my hubby
  • Nerdy classics like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings (still working on finishing them all!)
We all snuggle together on the big couch — me, my hubby, the family, and of course… the cats and dogs too. ๐Ÿ›‹️๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿพ Cuddle Pile with the Fur Family

There is nothing like being surrounded by my pets on a rainy day.

All my kitties gather into the same room like they’re drawn to the cozy energy. The doggies nap in their beds, some on the floor, and some even on the couch with us. Everyone’s peaceful and warm, just listening to the rain.

Sometimes one of the cats (like Batman or Tomatito) will climb up and snuggle.

Other times, Claire or Cereza will nudge into the blanket with me.

It’s our little storm sanctuary. ๐Ÿ’•

☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒ™☁️✨☁️๐ŸŒธ☁️

๐Ÿ’– Final Thoughts

Rainy days aren’t just about staying dry — they’re about reconnecting.

With comfort. With creativity. With the people and pets you love.

It’s a reminder to slow down and let softness be enough.

Whether I’m doodling sleepy cats to lofi beats, sipping cinnamon tea, or watching vampires while snuggling my 20+ meowers… I always feel the most “me” on rainy days.

What do you love to do when the rain begins to fall? ☁️

Tell me in the comments — I’d love to add your cozy rituals to my rainy day inspiration board ๐ŸŒง️๐ŸŒธ
