🐾 Somehow, the Kitties Found Me Again...

🐾 Somehow, the Kitties Found Me Again...
An overdue kitty update from our new little home in Texas ♡

Hi starlight~ πŸŒ™

It has been a long time since I've written a proper little life update here!

A lot has changed since my last posts. We packed up our lives in California, said goodbye to the home I grew up in, and made our way to our new home in Texas. And naturally, I brought my little furry family along with me. πŸ±πŸΆπŸ’•

But there was one thing I genuinely thought would be different here...

I thought there was NO WAY I was going to end up surrounded by stray kitties again.

...I was wrong.
Very, very wrong. πŸ˜‚

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🌲 Welcome to the Wild!

When we first arrived, I remember looking around our property and thinking about just how rural and wild everything felt compared to where I grew up.

The woods at the edge of our yard aren't even really the whole forest—they're basically the entrance to much deeper woods.

I actually got an unexpected tour of some of those deeper areas thanks to Claire. 😭 She once ran off into the woods, and one of our neighbors was kind enough to take me searching for her on his golf cart. His property goes much farther into the forest, so for the first time I got to see just how enormous those woods really are!

And then there's the wildlife. We hear coyotes howling on so many nights, and there have been sightings nearby. There are wild boars, snakes, frogs, and all sorts of little creatures I wasn't used to seeing around my old home.

So naturally I thought:

"There's no way stray cats are going to be wandering around out here."

For about eight months, I was actually right! Not a stray kitty in sight.

And then...

Jinx happened.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🐈 The Jinx Saga Begins

Jinx technically isn't a stray.

She's one of our neighbors' cats, but she's a very independent little lady who likes wandering from property to property and apparently deciding for herself where she'd like to spend her time. πŸ˜‚

Eventually, she started hanging around our yard.

With the Texas heat being as intense as it can be, I didn't feel right seeing her outside without making sure she at least had something to eat and plenty of fresh water. I let my neighbors know she had been visiting us and that I was feeding and watering her while she was here.

And apparently Jinx decided:

"Oh? Free food? Fresh water? Nice people?
Excellent. I have something to show you."

Because then...
SHE BROUGHT ME A KITTEN. 😭

That kitten became Miguel. πŸ±πŸ’•

After Jinx finished nursing him, Miguel apparently looked at our garage and said, "Yep. This will do."

He moved in.

LOL.

And that was our first unexpected new kitty member after moving to Texas.

But ohhhh no.

The Jinx Saga was nowhere near finished.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🍼 Jinx Returns With a Surprise...

Eventually Jinx disappeared for a while—probably around three months.

Then one day...

She came back.

Pregnant.

JINX. 😭😭😭

And apparently our garage had received a five-star review from her previous stay, because when it was time to have her babies...

She gave birth in our garage.

She originally had four little kittens. Sadly, one of the babies didn't make it, but the other three survived. πŸ’•

So now our garage has become home to Jinx, her three babies, and Miguel: Big Brother Edition™.

πŸ–€ Another member of the garage kitty daycare πŸ˜‚

Jinx stayed to nurse her kittens, Miguel lives with his little siblings, everybody gets food and water, and apparently my garage is now running an unofficial kitty daycare.

I still let my neighbors know when Jinx is here in case they're looking for her or want to bring her home, but they don't seem to mind her staying with us.

And Jinx herself? Well...

She gets free food. 🍽️
She has shelter. 🏑
Her babies are safe. 🐱

She does not seem particularly motivated to leave. πŸ˜‚

You'd THINK that would be enough cats for one update.

You would be mistaken.

Because we haven't even gotten to...

Marisol. 🌻

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

🌻 And Then There Was Marisol

Somewhere else on our property, another mama cat appeared.

Unlike Jinx, this kitty was definitely feral. She was beautiful—fluffy and striped—but extremely skittish and wanted absolutely nothing to do with humans.

She decided that our granary looked like a good place to raise a baby.

And there, she gave birth to one tiny kitten.

I named her Marisol. 🌻🐱

Marisol looks so much like her mama. She's fluffy and striped with this beautiful mixture of yellow, brown, and gray in her fur.

For the first few weeks, everything seemed okay. I saw her mama nursing her and taking care of her.

Then, around three weeks after Marisol was born...

Mama disappeared.

🌻 Tiny Marisol all by herself outside the granary after her mama disappeared.

At first I waited.

And waited.

I kept hoping she'd suddenly come back.

About two and a half weeks passed, and there was still no sign of her anywhere.

Eventually, I had to accept that something may have happened to her.

And now there was this tiny baby alone in the granary.

I couldn't leave her there.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

πŸͺ€ Operation: Catch the Baby

I found a small animal trap in our garage that had been left behind by the previous owners, so I decided to try it.

I put some nice, smelly canned kitty food inside and placed it in the granary where I'd already been leaving food and water for Marisol.

🐾 Operation Catch the Baby was a success!

And then...

FIVE MINUTES BEFORE MY FRIDAY STREAM...

My dad calls me.

"Hey, the kitty fell into the trap now. What do I do with her?"

FIVE. MINUTES. BEFORE. STREAM.
πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

I told him to quickly bring her into my room so she wouldn't hurt herself.

Then I started streaming.

I finished my stream, turned around...

saw this tiny kitten sitting behind me...

and went:

"OH YEAH. YOU'RE HERE."

I HAD ALMOST FORGOTTEN ABOUT HER. 😭

Poor Marisol probably thought she'd been kidnapped by the strangest family imaginable.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

πŸ’— Getting This Tiny Girl Healthy

Once I had a good look at her, though, the funny part quickly became a little heartbreaking.

She was so skinny.

I could see how bony she had become in such a short amount of time without her mama, and I knew this little girl needed help.

I gathered kitten supplies and focused on getting nutrition and hydration into her. I started her with KMR, unflavored Pedialyte and canned kitten food while I worked on getting her eating and hydrated, and then transitioned her toward kitten kibble and milk, with clean water always available.

Because she was so young and frightened, I also got her a playpen where she could have a safe little space of her own.

At first I let her roam around my room, but she was tiny enough to disappear into hiding places, and I was worried she might chew a cable, squeeze somewhere dangerous, or hurt herself.

So Marisol got her own little kitty apartment. πŸ˜‚πŸ’•

πŸ’œ Look how SMOL she was while I cleaned her little playpen. 😭

And slowly...

The bones started disappearing.

She's filled out so much compared with that first day. She's eating, drinking, pottying normally, playing, and becoming much more energetic.

She's even becoming a little pear-shaped. πŸπŸ˜‚

And seeing that tiny round belly after remembering how skinny she was when I caught her?

That makes my heart so happy.

πŸ±πŸ’• Marisol & Miguel

And here's possibly my favorite part of the entire story.

Marisol already knew Miguel.

Even when she was still living outside, those two had become little buddies.

Now when Miguel comes into my room, Marisol gets SO energetic and excited to see him. I've even caught them curled up asleep together on my couch a few times.

My heart. πŸ˜πŸ’•

πŸ’• Big brother Miguel visiting little Marisol in her kitty apartment.
Miguel and Marisol spending time together
🐾 Just look at the size difference!! 😭 They're the sweetest little buddies.

Sometimes I wonder if Miguel feels comforting to her because he resembles her mama a little. He's striped and has similar coloring, although Miguel has short fur while her mama was fluffy and long-haired.

Whatever the reason is, she absolutely adores him.

And seeing Big Brother Miguel cuddled up with this tiny orphaned baby is probably one of the sweetest things I've witnessed since moving here.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

πŸŒ™ So Much for "No More Stray Kitties"

And THAT brings us to the moral of this extremely long kitty saga:

I moved into the middle of rural Texas.

I saw the enormous forest.

I heard coyotes howling.

I learned about the wild boars and snakes.

I went eight whole months without seeing a stray cat and confidently thought:

"Well! I guess I won't have random kittens appearing at my house anymore!"

Meanwhile, the universe was apparently like:

"Give it a minute."

πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

Somehow... the kitties found me again.

Jinx found our yard. Miguel found our garage. Jinx came back and brought another generation with her. Another mama chose our granary. And little Marisol ended up sleeping safely in my room with a round belly and her buddy Miguel beside her.

Sometimes I even like to imagine that Sophia had a tiny paw in guiding them here. πŸŒ™πŸΎ

Maybe somewhere among the stars she saw these little babies who needed somewhere safe and whispered:

"Go over there. She'll help you."

Of course, I'll never really know.

But I do know one thing:

I don't have the heart to ignore a kitty who needs me.

So here's to a new home, a new chapter...

and apparently, more cats.

Some things never change. πŸ˜‚πŸ’•

With love, pawprints, and an ever-growing amount of cat food,

P.S. Apparently my garage has officially been added to the local cat distribution system. Please send help.

(Actually don't. I'll probably just adopt the help too.) πŸ˜πŸ±πŸ’•

The Tale of Chiisai Tsukiko: Chapter 3 - The Tavern Beneath Distant Stars

✨ Chapter 3: The Tavern Beneath Distant Stars
☁️ Some places are lost to time… yet somehow still waiting to be found.
☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

After spending so much time alone, Chiisai wandered farther than she ever had before.

Days passed.

The air grew dry.

The trees slowly disappeared.

And soon, sand stretched endlessly around her.

The desert felt empty.

Silent.

Unforgiving.

Yet something kept pulling her forward.

The sun had begun sinking beyond the dunes when Chiisai stopped walking.

Something flickered far away.

Light.

Not moonlight.

Not magic.

Lanterns.

As she moved closer, a building slowly emerged from the horizon.

It looked old.

Very old.

Weathered wood, faded signs, windows glowing with amber light. Wind chimes swayed gently outside, and faint music drifted through the desert air.

Chiisai tilted her head.

People laughed inside.

Voices.

Music.

Life.

Unlike the world she had quietly watched from afar...

This place felt different.

Friendly.

Strange.

Comfortable.

Almost like stepping into another time.

✦

Stories filled every corner.

Travelers shared tales beneath hanging lanterns. Old instruments rested against walls. Maps and handwritten notes decorated the wooden beams above.

Some said the tavern had existed longer than anyone remembered.

Some believed it had been there since another age entirely.

Others said it should not even still exist.

Yet every night—people somehow found their way there.

And Chiisai stood quietly outside.

Watching.

Wondering.

For the first time...

She wanted to go inside.

✦

She hesitated.

Only for a moment.

Her fingers brushed lightly against the worn wooden door before she slowly pushed it open.

A soft bell chimed above her.

Warmth immediately greeted her face.

Not heat.

Something different.

Comfort.

The cool desert wind disappeared behind her as lantern light spilled across the room in shades of amber and gold.

Chiisai blinked.

The tavern felt alive.

Soft music drifted through the air from somewhere in the corner, blending with quiet laughter and conversation.

No one seemed hurried.

No one seemed distant.

No one seemed cold.

It felt... safe.

✦

A strange feeling crept across her shoulders.

Subtle.

Quiet.

Like eyes resting upon her.

Near the darker corner of the tavern sat a young man dressed in dark clothing.

He wasn't speaking.

Wasn't laughing with the others.

He simply watched.

Calmly.

Quietly.

A book rested in one hand while the other lazily traced circles around the rim of a glass.

Strangely enough...

He didn't feel cold.

For reasons she couldn't understand, his presence felt warm.

Like sitting beside a fireplace during winter.

Like hearing a melody she swore she had heard before.

Their eyes met.

Only briefly.

Chiisai looked away.

Her ears twitched slightly.

Heat rose to her face.

Why was her heart suddenly beating faster?

✦

A soft voice suddenly spoke beside her.

"You look like you're searching for something."

Chiisai turned.

The same young man stood nearby.

He smiled.

Small.

Soft.

Gentle.

Like he already knew something she didn't.

"I... don't know what I'm searching for."

For a moment he simply looked at her.

Then smiled again.

"Sometimes people find what they're searching for..."

"...when they stop searching."

✦

Those words stayed with her.

Long after the night ended.

Long after the lanterns dimmed.

Long after she returned beneath moonlit skies.

Because something had changed.

Not her heart.

Not yet.

But her perspective.

Maybe life wasn't only about surviving.

Maybe it was also about living.

The Tale of Chiisai Tsukiko: Chapter 2 - The Quiet Path of Becoming

✨ Chapter 2: The Quiet Path of Becoming
☁️ The stars remember what she forgot…
☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

The world was quiet.

Too quiet.

Chiisai sat beneath the night sky, her small frame still as the wind whispered through the trees. She didn’t know what she was searching for… only that something inside her felt restless.

So she listened.

Not to the world—but to herself.

A faint warmth flickered in her chest. Soft at first… like a candle barely alive. She placed her hands over her heart and waited.

The warmth grew.

It spread gently through her body, weaving through her veins, settling into her palms. When she opened her eyes, a faint glow shimmered around her fingers.

She didn’t understand it.

But it didn’t feel dangerous.

It felt… familiar.

Like something she had always known.

✦

Her first movements were uncertain.

Unbalanced.

Clumsy.

She stepped forward—then stumbled.

Again.

And again.

The ground met her more times than she could count. Dirt clung to her hands, her knees stung, and frustration lingered quietly in her chest.

But she didn’t stop.

Each fall taught her something.

Each mistake softened into understanding.

Her breathing slowed. Her stance steadied. Her movements—once scattered—began to flow.

Not perfect.

But hers.

She wasn’t learning to fight.

She was learning to stand.

✦

The bow felt unfamiliar in her hands.

Too rigid. Too precise.

She pulled the string back, her arms trembling slightly as she tried to steady herself. The world around her faded—the wind, the trees, the distant sounds of life.

All that remained…

Was the target.

And her breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

For a moment, everything became still.

Not forced.

Not tense.

Just… quiet.

And then—

She let go.

The arrow flew.

Not perfectly.

But it didn’t need to be.

Because for the first time…

She trusted herself enough to release.

✦

The sword was heavier than she expected.

Not just in her hands…

But in meaning.

She hesitated before lifting it. Her reflection shimmered faintly along the blade’s surface—soft eyes, uncertain, questioning.

Was she meant to wield something like this?

Her grip tightened.

She swung.

Slow at first.

Then again.

And again.

Each motion carried hesitation… but also something deeper.

Resolve.

She didn’t want to harm.

But she understood now—

Strength wasn’t about destruction.

It was about protection.

✦

It happened by accident.

A small spark.

Barely noticeable.

She had been reaching for something—nothing in particular—when a soft glow danced between her fingertips.

She froze.

The light flickered… then dimmed.

Curiosity replaced fear.

She tried again.

This time, the glow lingered longer.

It responded to her.

To her thoughts.

To her emotions.

A quiet smile touched her lips.

For the first time…

Something unknown didn’t feel overwhelming.

It felt… beautiful.

✦

The world was still unfamiliar.

Still overwhelming.

Still too loud at times.

But there was something she had found…

Something that didn’t confuse her.

Something that didn’t push her away.

Her fingers hovered over unfamiliar keys—hesitant, unsure.

No one had taught her.

No one had shown her how.

And yet…

When she pressed down—

A sound bloomed.

Soft.

Gentle.

Alive.

Her breath caught.

She tried again.

Another note.

Then another.

And slowly… something formed.

Not perfect.

Not structured.

But real.

The melody wrapped around her like warmth, like something she had been missing without knowing.

She closed her eyes.

And played.

Because for the first time since arriving in this world…

She didn’t feel lost.

She felt understood.

✦

And little by little…

Without realizing it—

Chiisai was changing.

She was no longer just the girl who fell from the stars.

She was becoming something more.

The Tale of Chiisai Tsukiko: Chapter 1 - The Girl Who Fell from the Stars

✨ Chapter 1: The Girl Who Fell From the Stars
☁️ The stars remember what she forgot…
☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

Before she had a name, she was only a whisper in the sky.

A small, glowing being—soft as starlight, drifting far from where she once belonged.

No one knew when it happened.
No one saw her fall.
But one quiet night, beneath a sky full of distant constellations, she arrived.

She woke to a world that felt... heavy.

The air was different. The ground beneath her feet was unfamiliar. The sounds of life—voices, footsteps, wind through trees—felt overwhelming, like a language she had never learned.

She didn’t understand this place.
And this place didn’t understand her.

She wandered.

Silent. Observing. Learning.

Humans passed by her without noticing the quiet glow she tried so hard to hide. Their lives moved fast—too fast. Their emotions were loud, unpredictable, confusing.

Chiisai felt small.

Not in size... but in presence.
Like she didn’t belong anywhere at all.

So she disappeared.

Not physically—but quietly.

She tucked herself away from the world, choosing solitude over confusion. It was easier to watch from afar than to risk being seen and misunderstood.

But even in hiding... she was changing.

There was something inside her.
Something ancient.
Something powerful.

At first, it frightened her.

Strange abilities she couldn’t explain. Strength she didn’t ask for. A quiet pull toward things she had never been taught—movement, rhythm, energy... like memories from a life she couldn’t fully remember.

So instead of running from it...
She began to learn.

Slowly.
Carefully.
Alone.

She practiced in silence.

Movements turned into discipline. Curiosity turned into knowledge. What once felt like a burden began to feel like... purpose.

She wasn’t weak.
She was becoming.

And though the world still felt unfamiliar...
For the first time—

Chiisai began to wonder...

Maybe she wasn’t lost after all.

Maybe she was placed here... to find herself.

Tiny Hopes for a New Year

New Year • Soft Beginnings

πŸŒ™ Tiny Hopes for a New Year

A gentle list of hopes… and a few brave dreams ✨

The new year arrived quietly.

No fireworks in my heart, no sudden feeling of renewal — just a soft moment of pause. A deep breath. The same moon in the sky, watching as another year begins.

I used to think the new year had to feel dramatic. Like something was supposed to click at midnight. But this time, it didn’t — and that’s okay. I’m stepping into this year gently, carrying both love and loss, hope and exhaustion, all at once.

⋆。°✩ ✦ ✩°。⋆

🀍 A Year That Asked a Lot

The past year asked so much of me.

I moved away from a home that held decades of memories. I grieved deeply — not only the loss of beloved pets, but the kind of grief that settles into your bones when life changes faster than your heart can keep up. Some days, it still feels like part of me is somewhere else. Like my heart hasn’t fully unpacked yet.

But I’m still here. Still creating. Still trying.

And maybe that’s enough for now.

✧˖°πŸŒ™✨°˖✧

🌱 Tiny Hopes Instead of Resolutions

This year, I’m not making resolutions. I’m choosing tiny hopes instead.

Tiny hopes feel kinder. They don’t demand transformation — they simply invite growth.

Some of the tiny hopes I’m carrying into this year:

  • Creating art without pressure
  • Letting inspiration arrive when it’s ready
  • Cozy Twitch streams filled with gentle chats and shared comfort
  • Allowing rest without guilt
  • Learning to love this new place slowly, at my own pace
  • Honoring memories — especially my pets — through creativity rather than silence

I don’t want to rush healing. I don’t want to race toward productivity. I want to move in a way that feels sustainable, soft, and real.

⋆⭒˚.⋆ πŸ•―️ ⋆.˚⭒⋆

🌸 What I’m Letting Go Of

I’m letting go of the idea that healing has a deadline. Of comparing my pace to others. Of feeling behind just because my path looks different.

Grief doesn’t reset just because the calendar changes. Creativity doesn’t bloom on command. And growth doesn’t always look loud.

Sometimes, growth looks like staying.

✦ πŸͺ½ ✦

✨ Tiny Hopes… and a Few Big Dreams

Alongside my tiny hopes, I’m allowing myself to hold a few big dreams, too — not as expectations, but as quiet stars in the distance.

Lately, I’ve found myself dreaming about animation.

I don’t really know how to animate yet — not properly, not technically — but something about experimenting with motion in my Twitch overlays and Canva designs sparked a curiosity in me. It made me wonder what it would feel like to bring drawings to life.

I dream about learning how to animate anime-style characters — little fan animations of characters I love, moments captured in motion, expressions that breathe. I also dream about animating kawaii characters, soft and comforting, full of warmth.

And sometimes… I imagine animating my pets who have passed away — all of them together, in a peaceful, heaven-like place. A space where they’re reunited, safe, and at rest. Not as something sad, but as something gentle. A way to honor them through love and creation.

Who knows? Maybe one day I could even learn how to create VTuber models — characters that move, blink, smile, and share space with others in real time. It feels intimidating to say out loud… but also exciting.

I’m not demanding that this year makes any of these dreams come true. I’m simply giving myself permission to be curious.

⋆。°πŸŒ™πŸ«Ά°。⋆

πŸŒ™ Stepping Forward, Softly

This year, I’m not chasing a new version of myself.

I’m walking forward with who I already am — slowly, honestly, and with care. I’m letting tiny hopes guide me, and allowing big dreams to exist without pressure.

If something grows from them, I’ll welcome it. If not, I’ll still be grateful for the act of dreaming.

Here’s to a year of gentle creativity, quiet courage, and small moments of peace — under the same moon, always watching.

Starting Over, Slowly...

✨ Starting Over, Slowly ✨

A gentle reset, one step at a time πŸŒ™

✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

Lately, I’ve been learning something that doesn’t come easily to me: patience.

Not the kind that feels forced or frustrating, but the gentle kind — the kind where you finally stop asking yourself to prove anything and instead ask, “What pace actually feels right for my life?”

For a long time, I felt like I had to do everything all at once. Art, blogging, Twitch, ideas, plans — all moving fast, all demanding attention. And while the excitement was real, so was the overwhelm.

So I paused. And in that pause, I realized something important.

I don’t need to rush to show people what I can do.
I want to move steadily, kindly, and consistently — so the people who find me can truly love what I create.

🌱 Learning to Create Without Pressure

I’ve always loved creating. Drawing, writing, building little worlds — it’s part of who I am. But somewhere along the way, that love started to mix with pressure.

Deadlines that weren’t really necessary. Seasons that felt like races. That quiet voice that said, “You’re behind.”

I’m learning to let that voice go.

Instead of chasing seasons or trends, I’m choosing to work ahead, slowly, and with intention. Even if something isn’t “in season,” it still deserves care, time, and joy.

Art doesn’t bloom on a clock.
It blooms when it feels safe to exist.

🎨 Where I Am Creatively Right Now

Right now, I’m taking my time with my artwork for my Etsy shop — and that feels really good. I’m focusing on steady progress instead of perfection.

I’m also preparing to start streaming on Twitch around mid-January. I’ve been quietly working on OBS, learning setups, scenes, and all the behind-the-scenes things that make streaming feel comfortable rather than stressful.

As for my Discord server, I’m allowing that to grow slowly too. Communities aren’t built overnight — they grow through trust, shared moments, and kindness.

🐾 A Little Life Update

Spending time with my pets, finding comfort in small routines, noticing the quiet moments that don’t need to be productive to be meaningful.

Some days are quiet. Some days are inspired.
And both are okay.

πŸŒ™ What’s Next

This year has been one of the hardest chapters of my life. I’m giving myself permission to take my time, to grieve, to remember, and to slowly rebuild.

What’s next isn’t a big reveal or a fast transformation. It’s gentle progress — creating, remembering, healing, and continuing to love deeply.

Thank you for being here with me during this in-between season. πŸŒ™

An Early Christmas Surprise

πŸŒ™ A Beautiful Upgrade — And a Gift From the Heart

✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

πŸ’œ✨ An Early Christmas Surprise

I wasn’t expecting anything big this week. I’ve been using my old HP Envy for years — it’s been my cozy companion for art, blogging, stickers, editing, chatting with my family, and even gaming here and there. But lately… she struggled. The battery couldn’t hold a charge, Windows 10 is nearing its end, and she couldn’t update to Windows 11 no matter how hard I tried.

I quietly accepted it, thinking: “It’s okay, I’ll make it work a little longer.”

But my parents? They noticed everything.

✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

πŸ–₯️ My Faithful Old HP Envy

Even if she was getting a little tired, I’m still grateful for how much my old laptop did for me. Here’s a little peek at what was inside:

  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-7500U @ 2.70 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB (2 × 8 GB Hynix/Hyundai @ 2133 MHz)
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX + Intel® HD Graphics 620
  • OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
  • Resolution: 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz

For its time, it was a great laptop, and it helped me learn, create, and grow. But as the years passed, programs started installing slowly, performance felt heavier, and the battery was basically gone. I couldn’t move around with it anymore — it always had to stay plugged in.

✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

🎁 A Black Friday Gift From the Heart

Then something happened that completely surprised me.

My dad told me:
“You have your PC for your power work, but you need a laptop too. Windows 10 is ending, your HP Envy can’t update to Windows 11, and when we travel in the motorhome to San Diego, you’ll need something reliable to keep working remotely.”

I didn’t even realize they were planning anything… and then my parents decided to get me a new HP Victus as an early Christmas gift — a Black Friday surprise just for me. πŸ’œ

When I started setting it up, I was honestly shocked: programs installed in what felt like the blink of an eye, everything ran smooth and fast, and the battery actually works. I can finally move around with my laptop again — sit on my bed, curl up on the couch, or bring it with me when we travel.

✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

πŸš€ A New Era for My Work and Dreams

This laptop isn’t just “new tech” to me — it feels like a fresh chapter. With my HP Victus, I can:

  • Work on my Etsy shop from anywhere in the house
  • Write and schedule blog posts from cozy corners
  • Prepare Twitch streams and run my programs more smoothly
  • Manage Cricut, art apps, and launchers without waiting forever
  • Chat with my mom and boyfriend on Telegram and WhatsApp (especially when I misplace my phone πŸ˜…)

It really feels like the beginning of a “New Laptop Era” — a Moonchild who can work and create on the go.

πŸ’– I Am Truly Blessed

More than anything, this whole experience reminds me how loving and supportive my parents are. My dad is just as sweet and thoughtful as my mom — they both always try to provide what I need so I can keep moving toward my dreams.

They told me this would be an “early Christmas gift”, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Sometimes I look at them and think: “They’re too good, too precious… do I even deserve them?”

Deep down, I know I want to honor every sacrifice, every spending, and every moment of care they’ve given me. I want to make sure it’s all worth it — by working hard, growing my art and projects, and doing my best to shine in my own way.

I am beyond happy, and so, so grateful. This isn’t just a laptop. It’s a reminder that I’m not alone in my journey — my parents are right beside me, cheering me on. πŸŒ™πŸ’œ

A Sweet Reminder From My Mama (and My Heart)

✦✦✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦✦✦

A Sweet Reminder From My Mama (and My Heart)

✦✦✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦✦✦

These last few days have honestly been a little emotional for me. Nothing bad… just one of those moments in life where you feel pulled in two different directions, and you’re trying to make the “right” choice.

I applied for a full-time daycare job. Not because I wanted to stop making art… but because I felt that pressure — that voice that says, “You should be doing more. You should be helping more. You should bring money in faster.” And I let that get to me.

I prepared myself, dressed nicely, took my resume, took my certifications… and I went to the interview. And it actually went really well. They were so sweet, and they really liked hearing about Tiny Moon Atelier and my purpose behind it. For a tiny moment, I felt like maybe this was a sign, maybe this was something I should step into.

But then… my mama talked to me.

She reminded me of everything I’ve been building these past months — my art shop, my equipment, my Etsy listings, my blog, my goals, my hopes, and even the things I haven’t started yet but have been planning in my heart. She reminded me that I’ve already been walking toward my dream, step by step, and that taking a full-time job like that would take away all the time and energy I need to keep going.

And she was right.

A full-time Monday–Saturday schedule, from 8 AM to 5:30 PM… I realized I’d come home exhausted. I wouldn’t have the time or strength to create new art, write my blog posts, prepare packages, or even organize new ideas. My dream would slow down so much — not because I didn’t care, but simply because I wouldn’t have the hours left in the day.

And I don’t want that. I’ve worked too hard. I’ve invested too much love. I’ve come too far already.

I want to make art. I want to keep building Tiny Moon Atelier. I want to give my time to the things that make me happy and give my life meaning.

So if they call me on Friday, I’ll kindly thank them, but I won’t move forward. Not out of fear… but out of clarity. Out of peace. Out of choosing myself and the dream God placed in my heart.

It wasn’t a failure. It wasn’t a mistake. It was a reminder — that even when I drift a little, I can always find my way back to my purpose.

I want to make art. I want Tiny Moon Atelier more than anything.

Tiny Moon Atelier - Grand Opening

✨⭐
⭐✨
⭐πŸŒ™
πŸŒ™⭐

✨🌟✨πŸŒ™✨🌟✨

πŸ‚πŸŒ™✨ Tiny Moon Atelier — Grand Opening! ✨πŸŒ™πŸ‚

A cozy fall beginning for my tiny art dream.

Today is such a special day for me…
I officially opened Tiny Moon Atelier, my little Etsy shop filled with kawaii stickers, cozy art, and magical creations made with so much love πŸ’›✨

I’ve dreamed of having my own shop for years, and seeing my first listing go live felt like watching a tiny lantern float into the night sky — soft, warm, hopeful, and full of promise. πŸπŸŽ€

✨⭐πŸŒ™⭐✨

πŸ‚ Why I Started With Fall Birds

I decided to begin my shop with something gentle, warm, and meaningful:
Fall Kawaii Bird Stickers.

Autumn feels like a season of new beginnings disguised as an ending. As leaves fall and the world becomes cozy, the heart prepares for growth, dreaming, and transformation. πŸ‚✨

Little birds felt like the perfect symbol:

  • 🐦 tiny, precious, full of life
  • πŸŽƒ surrounded by pumpkins and pies
  • 🍁 wrapped in warm fall colors
  • πŸŒ™ carrying a soft, comforting energy

🌟✨πŸŒ™✨🌟

✨ The First Listing

My very first Etsy listing includes:

  • 🐦 A sweet fall bird
  • πŸŽƒ Pumpkins, pies, cranberries & autumn treats
  • πŸ‚ Soft autumn colors
  • πŸŒ™ Kawaii details matching my Tiny Moonchild aesthetic
  • πŸ’Œ Hand-packaged with care in Texas

Holding the finished sheet felt surreal — like watching my art step into the real world for the first time.

πŸ’› Printed & Packaged With Love (and a Purple Mailer!)

Every sticker sheet is printed on high-quality matte paper, tucked into a clear sleeve, wrapped in a cute paper hug, sealed with a Tiny Moon Atelier sticker, and placed into a purple bubble mailer πŸ’œ

I want each order to feel like opening a tiny present ✨

πŸŒ™πŸ’«⭐πŸ’«πŸŒ™

πŸŒ™✨ What’s Coming Next?

This launch is just the beginning!

  • ❄️ Winter bird stickers
  • πŸŽ„ Christmas characters & ornaments
  • πŸŽ€ Cozy cottage scenes
  • 🌟 New Year sparkle sheets
  • ❤️ Cute phrases + planner stickers
  • 🐈 Cat-themed items
  • ✨ More sticker packs & printables

☕πŸ’Œ A Thank You From My Heart

Your support means everything to me — truly.

From my very first sketch to this magical moment, I’ve carried this dream inside my heart. Now it’s finally blooming, and I’m so grateful you’re here with me on the journey πŸ₯Ί✨πŸ’—

I hope these fall stickers bring warmth and joy to your planners, journals, and everyday life.

More cuteness is on the way 🍁✨⭐

From San Diego to Naples: The Owl’s Blessing πŸŒ™

From San Diego to Naples: The Owl’s Blessing πŸŒ™

One night, under a glowing full moon, I heard an owl sing in my yard — for the very first time.
It was 1:40 AM on October 7th, the night after my mother’s birthday. I was lying down peacefully, listening to old Nintendo songs that made my heart feel warm and nostalgic: Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3… Breath of the Wild… even F-Zero from the SNES days.

That’s when I heard it.
A gentle rhythm through the night air:
hoo… hoo-hoo… hoo-hoo…

I paused the music and pulled off my headphones, heart still.
Again, the owl sang — soft, slow, and distant. I opened the blinds and looked into the glowing sky. Clouds parted gently, and the full moon lit up the world like a lantern. Crickets and cicadas played their usual background chorus, but this time, something was different. Something magical.

It was the first owl I’ve ever heard in Naples. But not the first I’ve ever heard in my life.

The first time I heard an owl was in San Diego, a few years ago.
It was late at night, and I had just visited the hospital with my mom and brother. My father had suffered a heart attack and stroke, his fourth surgery. I was scared. Broken. We stepped out of the hospital in the dark, and suddenly we heard it:
The same hooo. Loud and clear.

And there, perched at the very top of the hospital building… was the owl.
A guardian in feathers.

In our Mexican culture, owls can be feared — some say they mean death is near. I was afraid. But I later learned they can also symbolize protection during illness, a messenger of wisdom and spiritual care. I chose to believe that version. And my father recovered.
By God’s grace, he is here with us now, alive and smiling in our new home in Texas.

So last night… when I heard the owl again, it didn’t feel like a warning.
It felt like a sign of peace. A full-circle moment.
The first time I heard the owl was in sorrow.
This time, it was in bliss — with my family safe, my mother just celebrated, and the sky softly aglow above our quiet home.

Each call sounded soft and kind, like the night itself was breathing. For the first time since moving here, I felt the land speak back.

They say when an owl greets you on a quiet evening, it isn’t by accident. It’s a sign of peace, wisdom, protection, transition, and connection— five gifts wrapped in feathers. Maybe that’s why there were five hoos.

I imagined the owl perched high in the oak, watching with bright golden eyes, guarding this little patch of moonlight I now call home. And in that moment, I felt something settle inside me—like the world whispered, “You belong here, Tiny.”

πŸ¦‰πŸ’«
Two owls. Two chapters.
One story of healing.

🌸 My Cozy Kawaii Room Tour 🌸

🌸 My Cozy Kawaii Room Tour 🌸

Hi moonbeams ✨πŸŒ™ It’s Jackie (aka Chiisai Tsukiko), and today I’m opening the door to my little sanctuary — my new room! This is the space where I create, play, rest, and spend time with my kitties. Every corner holds a mix of cozy vibes, kawaii inspiration, and nostalgia. Come along with me on this tour!

πŸšͺ Walking In

As soon as you step inside, the first thing you’ll notice is how bright and open the space feels. Soft white walls, natural sunlight pouring through the window, and little pops of pastel purple and pink set the mood. It’s a place that feels calm and dreamy but also full of life.

🎨 My Desk & Gaming Setup
My Laptop Setup (PC Setup coming soon!)
My Tamagotchi Block Calendar!

To the left is the heart of my creative world — my desk! It’s both my art studio and gaming station, and I love how functional yet magical it feels.

  • My lavender-and-white chair keeps me comfy, while my LED lights give the whole area a soft glow.

  • On the shelves, I’ve tucked away essentials like my mini printer, pastel scissors, and storage bins.

  • On my desk, you’ll see my cat-ear headphones, a glowing moon lamp πŸŒ™, and my laptop ready with its cheerful wallpaper.

This is where I design stickers, edit art, or hop into cozy gaming sessions. It’s a little command center for both work and play.

🐾 The Cat Kingdom

Right beside me, my cats have their very own tower — a tall enclosure with multiple levels, hammocks, cozy beds, food, and water stations. Each of my kitties has a favorite spot: some curl up high above to watch over me, while others stay low to peek through the bars or nap by the litter box.

It’s their safe haven, and it makes me so happy to have them close by while I work. Honestly, they’re the real bosses of the room! πŸ±πŸ’–

✂️ Craft & DIY Station

My Crafting Space!

By the window, I’ve created a dedicated crafting area. This is where I keep my Cricut, lavender heat press, and other tools for making stickers, shirts, and other creations.

I lined the windowsill with little crystals, trinkets, and figures — tiny bursts of inspiration whenever I glance outside. The sunlight here makes it the perfect corner for creative projects, and I can watch the trees and sky while I work.

πŸ›️ Loft Bed & Cozy Nook

My smol loveseat (it can turn to a bed!) and loft bed next to my collection shelf

Looking upward, you’ll see my loft bed dressed in lavender floral bedding. Plushies like Olaf and a chubby green dino sit at the edge, keeping me company at night. It feels like sleeping in a little moonlit garden up there.

Underneath the bed is my cozy nook — a mini sofa covered in a nostalgic Hamtaro blanket πŸΉπŸ’•. This is my curl-up corner for reading manga, sketching, or just relaxing when I need a break.

πŸ“š Collection Shelf

Across from the bed, I have a cubby shelf full of treasures:

  • My Tamagotchi family and Sanrio friends.

  • Cute trinkets and pastel collectibles.

  • Manga lined up neatly at the bottom, ready to read.

This shelf is like a mini museum of all the things that inspire me and remind me of happy memories.

πŸ“Ί Chill & Entertainment Area

My Plushie Hammock!
My TV, Plushies, Shelf Storage (ignore my cluter!) & Holy space ♥

On the opposite wall is my dresser with a big TV for cozy nights of anime, movies, or streaming in the background while I work. Above it, a hammock cradles a whole bundle of plushies — like a pastel cloud floating on the wall.

Next to it, I keep shelves for my supplies, plus a faux fireplace heater that gives extra warmth and coziness during colder nights.

✨ Wrapping Up

And that’s my little tour! πŸŒ™ This room is more than just furniture and decor — it’s my happy bubble. It’s where I dream, create, play, and share my world with my cats. Every corner is filled with love, nostalgia, and pastel magic.

πŸ’Œ Thank you for visiting my room today! Tell me in the comments: which part would you want to hang out in first — the desk, the cozy nook, or with the kitties?

My New Creating Space — Art, Gaming, & Loftbed

πŸŒΈ My New Creative Space — Art & Gaming Loft

After months of moving, unpacking, and organizing, I finally get to share a little peek into my new creative room! It’s still a work in progress, but it already feels like my own cozy bubble of kawaii, gaming, and art. ✨

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

πŸŒ™ My Loft Bed Dream Come True

I finally got the white metal frame loft bed I’ve always wanted! It’s a full-size loft bed with shelves built into the stairs and even a little closet section. That’s where I hang my favorite pastel shirts and sweaters — the ones that feel like me. They’re full of kitty prints, Tamagotchi designs, and chibi animals in the softest pastel colors. They make me smile every time I see them, almost like they’re part of my dΓ©cor.

Under the stair shelves, I keep my Switch and Wii/Wii U games, along with some of my favorite movies and controllers. It feels neat and organized, but still playful! Beneath the loft, I’ve set up a comfy love seat where I can curl up to watch TV or dive into my games.

🎨 My Art Desk Setup

Along the wall, I have my long white desk (not a corner — I like the stretch of it horizontal across the wall). On it are shelves that hold my laminating machine and sticker sheets, ready for action. My new Epson printer sits proudly on the desk, next to my laptop. One day soon, it’ll be joined by my custom PC — my boyfriend is the one actually building it for me (thank you, love πŸ’œ).

And something I’m super excited about — my heat press for tumblers, mugs, shirts, and even baseball caps! I can’t wait to start designing and pressing my own creations. I already have themes planned out, and my biggest hope is that people will feel happy, bubbly, and of course, kawaii when they see and use them.

🐾 A Shelf of Collections & Stories

One of my favorite spots in the room is my collection shelf. It’s full of my Tamagotchi treasures — merch, accessories, and all kinds of versions (and yes, my collection is still growing~). Alongside them are Sanrio goodies, Japanese soda cans (I have the entire Sailor Moon soda set πŸŒ™✨), and some kawaii art books that inspire me.

There’s also a balance — cozy and cute, but with a touch of dark. My Tokyo Ghoul manga collection sits there too, because sometimes you need contrast to make the light shine brighter.

🌸 My Holy Space

Something I don’t talk about much, but it’s part of me, is my small altar. I call it my holy space. It brings peace and love into my room and into my life. Prayer keeps me grounded, and having that little corner reminds me to nurture my spirit as much as my creativity.

🐱 Life with My Cats

Yes… my cats live in my room too (too many to count sometimes, haha). To keep things peaceful at night, I have a tall kennel where they all sleep together. Otherwise, it’d feel like goblins ruling my room! πŸ˜‚ They go straight to sleep when I bring them in, and it keeps the room tidy. Cleaning is a constant routine — for their health and mine — but it’s worth it. My room still feels fresh, cozy, and welcoming despite the kitty chaos.

πŸŒ™ What’s Next

I may not have taken pictures yet, but I’ll be doing a little photo tour soon to share all of this visually with you. For now, I just wanted to write down what I’ve been building so far. Thank you all for being so patient with me while I set things up.

☁️🌸☁️✨☁️πŸŒ™☁️✨☁️🌸☁️

Please look forward to my new art designs, creations, and my Etsy shop opening soon! ✨

Stay tuned, and thank you for always supporting me πŸ’œ

P.S.

Oh, and that’s not all… ✨ I’m also working on

something super special for my kitties — their

very own cat shed! πŸΎπŸ’œ It’s still in progress, but

soon I’ll be sharing all the cozy details of how I’m

building a safe, dreamy space just for them. Stay

tuned for that post!
